Who we are
We are a team of Ethiopian-Canadians whose dream is to see a peaceful Ethiopia governed by the rule of law. We strive to advocate for peace and bring a peaceful resolution to the Ethiopian civil war that has devastated the regional state of Tigray and threatens other regions as it expands to other states and beyond.
Our mission
Ethiopian Canadians for Peace (ECFP) aspires to be a credible voice for peace and stability in Ethiopia. The war waged by the tripartite alliance, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and the Amhara regional state on Tigray has led the country to blood shade, damaged the social bond between various Ethiopian communities, not to mention the severe regional instability. Ethiopian Canadians for peace aims to share truthful information to global leaders and advocate for a peaceful resolution of the meaningless war.
